day four

Philippians 4:8-9 

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you."

day four: hobbies. interests.

you know, stuff i like to do. i know this verse made me think like 'whaaaa- wow God's really specific of what we do and how we do it...'. But i mean, come on. its true. does He or even the closest people Want you doing stuff that only makes YOU satisfied... all the time? for one: thats kind of selfish... Second: you only live once. if you waste your life on doing whatever you want, when will look and see that its wrong and could be hurting us (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically) and affecting people around us just the same as it is doing so with us. BUT in some cases it might not be hurting you. BUT (theres a lot of those... sorry) it is either going to end up hurting you, or someone else.

How do you know what is good and what is bad? EASY PEASY. there's this book. and its awesome. its the best book EVER. do you like thrillers? romance? action? its got all of it. this is coming from ME, the person who would rather sit in my room and stare at a wall than read a boring book that wasn't my choice. SORRY IF I INSULTED ANYONE... im just trying to make a point. ;) OH IM SORRY i forgot to tell you what its called. ready....?! drum roll.....

THE BIBLE

66 books in the Bible. 39 in the New Testament, and 27 in the Old Testament, the Bible is a great book to read. theres many many heroes who proclaimed their faith in front of some of the most evil people ever. They stood up for their creator and faced the price. but did they ever regret it? Nope. guys please read it. it's an amazing book to read. :) take my word, you wont be disappointed.

my favourite book in the Bible is totally Revelation. to some ppl this book is very confusing, but if you like on the edge of seat; this will give you another reason to read it. ;)
